Camp Courageous is seeking a compassionate, confident Registered Nurse (RN) to join the year-round Medical Services team. This full-time position provides nursing care for children and adults with disabilities while helping create safe, exceptional experiences for thousands of campers throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct nursing care and medication administration
- Assess and respond to camper and staff health needs
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and Camp staff
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Support a safe, healthy environment for campers, volunteers, and staff
Qualifications:
- Current Iowa RN license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with individuals with disabilities is welcomed but not required
